Tax Day. Nation-wide, the "unprepared virgens" are filing their state and federal taxes and flooding the post office to get them postmarked today. Luckily for me (and my siblings, and a few close friends), my mother prepared my taxes for free earlier this year and electronically filed them through work.
Didn't precept today. Got report, and my 0800's were done and charted by 0830. How fabulous.
After work rushed over to Miller-Eccles for Karen Torjeson's lecture, "Early Christian Life - Women, Family, Teaching and Organization." Torjeson is a/the (?) Dean (History of Christianity; Women's Studies in Religion) at Claremont Graduate University. Wonderful lecture, and a good representative of feminist shcolarship.
Came home and played Catan when I should have practiced piano.
