Red slippers will do very well for dancing. Test drove them by slapping moleskin on the bottom, and they danced beautifully. Now I feel good about investing in chrome suede for the soles. Note: Moleskin joins the Wonderful Everyday Inventions List … along with ziplock baggies, drier sheets, post-its, advil and benadryl.
Nostalgic night of dancing. Saw and danced with Watakun, my first lindy boyfriend, for the first time in a long time. Healed a breach caused by an old argument with Lancer, with a wonderfully danced song. Also ran into 8-ON, Little Julie and Ben. DJ’s Tony and JD played lots of 40’s era swing music, with a fair amount of Charleston thrown in. And, Norma Miller, the grand dame of lindy, made an appearance. What a night!
